Sebuah entry boot linux terbaru yang mengindikasikan sebuah Intel Meteor Lake-P series telah terungkap. Serentak, ini banyak dibahas di beberapa komunitas Tech Geek. Dalam entry boot tersebut CPU Meteor Lake ini hadir dengan konfigurasi 14 core.
Meteor Lake A.K.A. Genuine Intel(R)
Informasi ini diungkapkan oleh Coelacanth-Dream dalam project Sound Open Firmware (SOF) di sebuah thread github yang di publikasikan oleh Intel’s Fred Oh. Dikatakan bahwa ES meteor lake ini hadir dengan 14 core dan base clock di 1.2GHz.
Seperti yang pernah kami jelaskan di pembahasan sebelumnya, sampel CPU Meteor Lake P generasi ke 14 ini tidak menampilkan dukungan apa pun untuk AVX-512.
Sampel CPU Meteor Lake ini terdeteksi dalam 3 bootlog berbeda dengan dua jenis pola, 1 dengan 16 threads dan 20 threads. Artinya, CPU meteor lake P series ini memiliki konfigurasi core maksimal dengan 6P + 8E core dengan 20 threads.
Gambaran Bootlog Linux
Dari apa yang terlihat di Bootlog linux tersebut, bisa dianalisa bahwa Intel memang menguji sampel CPU Meteor Lake P series dengan kecepatan clock yang sangat rendah. CPU Intel meteor Lake generasi ke 14 ini sendiri diharapkan akan resmi meluncur mulai akhir tahun depan. Selain itu, ini juga akan membawa kejutan dengan menggunakan Redwood Cove untuk P Core dan Crestmont untuk E Corenya.
